The scheme for a newly extended Victorian house in central Cambridge to a step nearer completion this week with the installation of five large CorTen steel obelisks.

CorTen is a steel alloy that rusts to a bright orange that forms a protective coating preventing further corrosion. It has become very popular in landscape and architectural design, the most prominent example being the Angle of the North by Anthony Gormley.

Planting on this project will take place in February.
