Novo is a development of modern townhouses  in Cambridge’s research quadrant near the hospital.

This garden was identical to the first with the exception that it was south facing and the overlook was slightly closer. Screening for this, was provided by a raised bed planted with black stem bamboo.

The ground pattern again used the main axis of the house but also had a strong 45 degree emphasis to create a movement and a feeling of enhanced size.

Materials were textural. Black basalt covered the raised bed and path and diamond cut silver granite blocks were used in the static areas. Even in this small garden seperate dining and relaxation zones were created along with a small lawn for their young child.
